NIBIO Svanhovd
Svanhovd is located in picturesque and tranquil surroundings in the Pasvik valley in Finnmark, North-Eastern Norway. An informal and good atmosphere creates an inspiring venue for meetings and conferences, and a comfortable accommodation for visitors.

Øvre Pasvik National Park Centre
With us you can find Øvre Pasvik National Park Centre. We have a permanent exhibition presenting the Pasvik Valley's special nature, culture and history.
Øvre Pasvik National park Center can also provide the information about access, transport and accommodation in relation to the protected areas; give advice and tips about outdoor activities in the municipality. Summer 2012 we opened the doors to our new Brown bear exhibition. The exhibition is interactive where you can learn about the brown bear and our DNA research.

Svanhovd Botanical Garden
Svanhovd Botanical Garden is one of three public botanical gardens located north of the Arctic Circle. The garden demonstrates the diversity of trees, shrubs, roses, perennials, new plants and summer flowers that can grow in a continental climate subarctic. Here visitors can expand their knowledge about the flora and horticulture or just stroll around and enjoy the sight of hundreds of plants in blossom. We also have a vegetable garden in connection with our botanical garden.
